Let’s Talk: What’s Been Your Biggest Faith Struggle?

Faith isn’t always easy—and if you’re feeling distant from God or struggling with doubt, you’re not alone. Every believer faces moments where trust feels shaky, and questions seem overwhelming. This space is here for honest conversations, real encouragement, and spiritual growth. Let’s have an open discussion: What’s been your biggest faith struggle lately?

Colossians 3:14 - And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

A Look Back at the Series So Far

If you’ve been following along, you’ve explored how to deepen your faith and lean on God during difficult moments. Here’s a quick recap of what we’ve covered so far in the Eyes on the Lord series.

What We’ve Covered:

o    Staying focused on God in daily life.

o   Overcoming spiritual distractions and moments of drift.

o   Finding God’s presence in life’s chaos.

o   Trusting God through worry, anxiety, and fear.

o   Taking small but meaningful steps toward spiritual growth.

What’s Stood Out to You?

o   Has any topic resonated with you?

o   Have you made any changes or gained new insights along the way? If you’re not there yet, that’s okay—every journey moves at its own pace.

Philippians 3:12-14 – 12. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.  13. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. 14. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Your Faith Questions Matter

Struggling with faith doesn’t mean you’re failing—it means you’re growing. Everyone’s journey includes moments of doubt and difficulty, and that’s okay. What matters most is continuing to seek God, even when it feels hard.

Struggling Doesn’t Mean Failing

2 Timothy 2:13 - Even in doubt, God remains faithful

o   The Bible is filled with stories of those who struggled in faith—David cried out in the Psalms, Job questioned God in his suffering, and Peter denied Jesus three times.

o   Doubt is not weakness; it’s often where faith begins to grow stronger.

o   What matters is that we keep turning to God, even when we don’t have all the answers.

An Open Invitation to Share

o   What’s one question about faith that’s been on your heart lately?

o   Are there any challenges you’re currently facing that we can pray for together?

o   If you’ve come through a difficult season, what helped you stay connected to God?

1 Thessalonians 1:4-8

4. For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you, 5. Because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake. 6. You became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit. 7. And so you became a model to all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia.

Dear Lord,
Thank You for bringing us together and guiding us closer to You. Help us to invite You into both our hardships and joys as we continue strengthening our faith. Forgive us for the times we try to take control, let the world guide us, or when doubt begins to creep in.
Please continue planting seeds of growth within us, encouraging us to seek Your words and strength amid the challenges this world presents. Sometimes, words don’t seem enough—please see what’s in our hearts.
Thank You for always being present, even when we cannot see it.
Amen.
