One Year Later: How Keeping Your Eyes on the Lord Changes Everything

Twelve months ago, we set out on a journey to fix our eyes on the Lord—a journey of surrender, trust, and leaning into His love and promises. This path has opened our hearts to seek God more deeply, accept faith struggles as part of growth, and recognize that He is with us in every season. Doubt is a natural part of faith, but we are never alone. God walks with us through uncertainty, and so do others who share this journey.

Eyes on the Lord was born from an internal search—a desire to break free from the struggles and barriers I had built around myself, just trying to find comfort and peace amid the storms. The struggles have been raw and, at times, overwhelming. Yet, through this journey, I’ve learned that turning to Him doesn’t always look the same.

My seasons are ever-changing. Some days, it’s as simple as reading a devotional with my husband each night. Other times, it’s diving into a Bible study that speaks directly to a particular struggle I’m facing.

In those moments when I let go of the fight and turn to Him—when I drop my guard and allow His guidance to lead me—I find a calm that fills me from the inside out. The problems don’t vanish, and the struggles don’t disappear, but there is peace through it all when I walk with the Lord
