The Maple Falls is a place to share what I'm creating—from paintings and greeting cards to recipes, coloring pages, stickers, and more. Every project starts with something I enjoy making and hope someone else will enjoy too. Along the way you'll also find little pieces of everyday life and faith, because they're just as much a part of the journey as the artwork itself.

The Face Behind The Maple Falls

I'm Holly, and next to me is my handsome husband.

A little fun fact about this photo: the pond behind us is one I designed and built during the summer between my sophomore and junior year of high school. Looking back, it's a pretty good example of two things I've always loved—creating and being outdoors. I never would have imagined that 21 years later, life would come full circle and we'd be standing in front of it for our wedding photos.

Moments like this remind me how the Lord can be working long before we ever realize it. What started as a summer project became part of one of our favorite memories, and it's a reminder that the paths He creates aren't always the ones we can see at the time.
